Discover FENIX through direct contact with the material

FENIX is an innovative material created for interior design by the Italian company Arpa Industriale. With a low light reflection coefficient, it has an exceptionally matte surface and deep color. Its unique feature is the ability to regenerate its structure under the influence of heat. Under a microscope, the structure of Fenix is rough, which eliminates glare. This material can regenerate when exposed to heat, allowing minor scratches to be repaired with a wet cloth and an iron.

Its versatility makes it suitable not only for kitchens and bathrooms but also for office spaces and any area where aesthetics and functionality are important. Due to the use of thin laminate, Fenix materials are widely used not only in the production of countertops but also in furniture fronts, wall coverings, and blinds. Their versatility and elegant, matte appearance make them an ideal choice for various interior design projects.

Daily cleaning of FENIX

Warm water is usually enough
Since FENIX is a strong material, you can also use any household cleaning agent such as all-purpose cleaners, disinfectants, degreasers or descaling agents. Even acetone is safe to use if needed (always follow the health and safety instructions on the bottle).
To avoid damaging the structure, do not scrub the surface
agents such as milk with granules, a hard scourer or a brush. In the long run, this may result in shiny spots on a matte surface. Instead, you can use a melamine sponge - also known as a magic sponge.
The last step is to rinse the countertop with plenty of warm water
and wipe dry with a clean cloth. Water removes dirt, cleaning fluid residues and melamine sponge particles that may remain in the structure. A clean cloth absorbs water and thus prevents the formation of limescale, which may change the appearance.

FENIX deep cleaning

If the surface has not been cleaned properly over time you notice a change in appearance, then you can follow the procedure below to deep clean your FENIX surface.

Spray the entire surface with kitchen degreaser.
Use a clean cloth and warm water to loosen any residue using gentle rubbing. Rinse with plenty of warm water and dry with a clean cloth.
Spray the entire surface with descaling liquid.
Use a clean cloth and warm water to soften any residue using gentle rubbing. Rinse with plenty of warm water and dry with a clean cloth.
Use a magic sponge
Use a melamine sponge (magic sponge), make circular movements to reach deep into the structure. Rinse with plenty of warm water and dry with a clean cloth.
Usej Aceton
If the stain still remains, you can use acetone topically (always follow the health and safety instructions on the bottle).

Thermal regeneration of FENIX surfaces

In case of minor scratches, thermal regeneration of the surface is possible.

Thermal regeneration of light scratches
Place a paper towel over the scratches and moisten it with water. Then place the hot iron on the towel for a maximum of 10 seconds. After removing the iron, dry the surface with a clean, dry cloth.

Caring for FENIX products does not require any special treatments - just a soft cloth and a gentle detergent. Thanks to its ability to regenerate and resist stains, FENIX is easy to maintain, which makes products made of this material practical and long-lasting. To make the FENIX surface look like new, you must follow several basic rules described earlier. Thanks to them, your products will remain in good shape for many years.
