Richter+Frenzel showroom in Dorfen – a new quality in interior design thanks to the Okobo S160

The Richter+Frenzel showroom in Dorfen, designed by LOVA Design, was named January's winner of Cleaf's Shaping Surfaces competition. More than just a classic exhibition space, it's a space that immerses visitors in the design process, allowing them to truly experience materials and compositions. The showroom was designed with modularity in mind, meaning its concept can be easily transferred to other locations. It's a modern model of an interior design showroom that meets the needs of today's customers who value personalization and design flexibility.

Okobo S160 – wood that defines space

The heart of this project is the Okobo S160 décor – a material that adds depth and character to the interior. It's an interpretation of the rare Okoumé wood, known for its exceptionally regular grain and elegant surface.

In the Richter+Frenzel showroom, Okobo S160 was used for wall panels that create the atmosphere of the space. Inspired by the fibers of exotic woods, the structure lends a subtle rhythm to the space, introducing harmony and naturalness, yet with a modern twist. This wood is devoid of unnecessary decorative elements – a pure form that speaks for itself.

Its delicate sheen and carefully selected shades create a space that is both warm and refined. It's a material that doesn't overwhelm, but creates a backdrop for creativity, allowing designers and clients complete freedom in creating compositions.

A Space That Inspires

The Dorfen showroom was designed to evoke a sense of harmony and balance. A light color palette dominated by natural beiges, warm browns, and subtle grays creates a welcoming and comfortable interior.
Okobo S160 perfectly complements this approach – its natural tones warm the space, creating an inspiring environment for interior design. With the right lighting, this material brings out the depth of color and gives the showroom a modern, yet timeless character.
