July 25, 2024How does FENIX interact with natural and artificial light?
Among the distinctive properties that set the innovative FENIX materials apart, we observe a high level of mattness. This feature gives the materials a unique appearance and allows for beautiful interactions with various types of light.
FENIX & ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING
Dibiesse Kitchen
Dibiesse, an Italian manufacturer and designer of kitchen furniture, presents a kitchen in the showroom that showcases how the cabinets in white FENIX beautifully blend with the warm lighting in the room. In contrast to other dark wooden cabinet doors and the black round table, the delicacy of FENIX NTM Bianco Kos is highlighted by the eye-catching round chandelier lighting. “In our flagship store in Milan, we wanted to provide a sense of hospitality, light, and warmth of an ideal home. We chose FENIX materials for their high performance and low light reflectivity to create balance in the environment,” said Gianni Gardenal, Dibiesse's sales manager.
Installation by Studio Pepe
FENIX and artificial lighting create an inspiring interplay of mattness and brightness in an installation designed by Studiopepe, a Milanese architectural and creative agency. Among the selection of colorful furnishings with extravagant geometries and ethnic accessories, the rooms are divided by FENIX NTA Accaio Hamilton. This shade belongs to the brand’s reinforced metal surface, combining a metallic and extremely matte appearance. The choice of FENIX, which embellishes the exhibition project, creatively merges with both cool and warm lamps.
FENIX & NATURAL LIGHT
Arrital Kitchen
A charming design by the Italian kitchen manufacturer Arrital shows how daylight and FENIX harmoniously interact with each other. The chromatic depth of FENIX NTM Grigio Antrim is embraced by sunlight, creating a comfortable balance in the kitchen. Enhanced here by a natural, luminous atmosphere, the extremely matte surfaces of FENIX highlight their timeless aesthetic and visual pleasure.
Yacht Project by Forakis
The famous American designer Jozeph Forakis describes the interdependence between daylight and FENIX material in interiors created for CL Yachts. “My goal was not to design a luxury villa and transfer it to a boat. I wanted to create a bright space that constantly reminds you that you are on a vessel surrounded by nature. Natural light plays a key role in this, as does the mattness of FENIX, which does not interfere with the view and allows you to appreciate the entire environment.”
